Introduction
EDP has established a set of guidelines to minimise environmental impact during the different development phases in the construction of new wind farms. The most significant of these are detailed below:

Protected Areas
At EDP Renováveis we strongly believe that prevention is the key to avoid potential impacts. This is supported by the low percentage of our operative wind farms located in protected areas.
